Hong Kong's Ultimate Family Getaway!

As soon as we confirmed we could travel to Hong Kong, we packed up the kids and headed out! This time, we stayed at the Island Shangri-La Hotel for five days and four nights, and it was an absolute blast—we truly didn’t want to leave! The themed rooms here are simply amazing! Over the five days, we stayed in three different themed rooms: an electronic bus room, a spaceship room, and a dreamy princess room. Each one was full of surprises! The rooms were packed with hidden little features, and the kids went wild exploring as soon as we arrived, constantly exclaiming, "Wow!" and "So pretty!" The bathroom and living room designs deserve extra points too! The shell mosaic walls sparkle beautifully when the lights are on, creating a cozy yet elegant atmosphere—perfect for taking Instagram-worthy photos! The hotel also arranged a kids' club experience at the yacht club, and the children had so much fun they didn’t want to leave. It was the perfect way for them to burn off energy! The only slight downside was the inconsistency in service. On the first day, the butler was incredibly attentive, frequently checking in to see when we’d arrive, how smooth the border crossing was, and even waiting for us at the door. However, in the following days, possibly due to staff shortages, the same butler had to manage multiple rooms, so responses were slower. Overall, though, this hotel is absolutely worth recommending! The kids had such a great time they didn’t want to leave, and even after we got home, they kept talking about it. We took so many beautiful photos during our stay, and now I’m seriously considering hiring a craftsman to make a spaceship-themed kids' bed for them! Next time we visit Hong Kong, we’ll definitely stay here again!
