Gulangyu Cruise Trip to Miyakojima

📅 May 31 - June 4｜5 Days 4 Nights｜Departing from Hong Kong It's been a while since I last took a cruise—the last time was a few years ago on the Star Cruises departing from Singapore. This time, I experienced the Gulangyu Cruise. Although it's a medium-sized ship, it performed quite well overall, with comprehensive facilities, attentive service, and great value for money. 👍 I stayed in a Superior Balcony Room this time. The space was adequate, the price reasonable, and the sea view was very relaxing. We departed from the Liantang Port, where there was a free shuttle bus to Kai Tak Cruise Terminal. For the return trip, if you want more convenience, you can pre-book a paid shuttle bus (about $10) directly back to Liantang, or take the free APM shuttle to Kwun Tong and then buy a direct bus ticket on-site to Huanggang Port (📱using Octopus Card for payment is cheaper). 🍴 There are six restaurants on board—three are free, and three are paid. The buffet offers a wide variety of choices. The Peninsula and Oriental restaurants are à la carte Western dining options with great views and delicious food. With breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even late-night snacks, I was thoroughly satisfied. 🎭 I recommend the performances at the Star Sea Theater on the 7th floor. The shows are professional and entertaining. Make sure to arrive early to grab a seat, as there aren't many available! 🎁 On the last night, we even encountered a double rainbow at sea 🌈—so beautiful and romantic! 📌 Summary: The itinerary is relaxing and well-organized, making it suitable for families, friends, or couples. If you're interested in trying a cruise vacation, this is definitely worth considering!
