The route is mostly flat concrete road, but the section to the Qingjing Terrace of Qiandao Lake has more stone steps and mud due to desertification, so you need to be extra careful. Starting from Sau Kwun Wat: Starting from Sau Kwun Wat Village, go up the mountain along the tenth section of the MacLehose Trail. You will pass some muddy and gravel roads on the way. It takes about 1.5 hours to reach the Qingjing Terrace of Qiandao Lake. Starting from Tai Tong: Starting from Tai Tong Mountain Road, passing through the Tai Lam Nature Education Trail and the stone bridge, then starting to climb the stone steps. Some sections of the road are muddy, and finally reach the Qingjing Terrace of Qiandao Lake. You can also enjoy the red leaves of the Tai Tong Liquidambar Forest first, and then go to Qiandao Lake.
