For someone like me from the New Territories, the newly opened restaurant "Extreme Dai Ying Hei" at Tsuen Wan Plaza is truly amazing. It's close by, newly renovated, with a top-notch environment that's clean and comfortable! The Tsuen Wan branch is the first to introduce Set A and Set B menus. Personally, I think Set A is already more than enough for regular dining. Plus, they have Hong Kong's exclusive Nutella sauce self-service station, which I absolutely love. This time, I tried the 5 PM Set B for $388. Exclusive to Set B: - Lobster baked with cheese on a bed of noodles - Salt-baked crab - Flame-seared A5 Wagyu beef with sea urchin - Toro, dried cod with sea urchin, and tuna tartare tacos - Lobster and crab dishes that are of high-end restaurant quality Set A starts at $268 for lunch and offers 3 hours of dining. Highly recommended dishes include: - Steamed razor clams with garlic and vermicelli - Bluefin tuna sashimi - Cherry foie gras - Dried cod crab meat and crab roe tacos - Grilled tilefish with black truffle cream sauce - Sweet and sour pork with strawberries - Peking duck with lotus leaf buns - Salt-baked prawns - Drunken abalone - Crab roe soup with fish maw - Pistachio temptation French bread The variety of ice cream and drinks here is among the best in Hong Kong! There's also skewers, tempura, pigeon, crayfish, and dim sum. Honestly, I was too full to try everything, but the pistachio temptation French bread is a must-try.
