Compared to Sinsadong or Myeongdong, Hongdae has a more free-spirited and unconventional personality. This is not my first time to Hongdae, but I am still pleasantly surprised by the small shops that keep popping up. My favorite is the small alleys in the Yeonnam-dong area.
