Houston Arboretum & Nature Center

#summervacay This spot is a serene nature retreat in the middle of the city. I went early in the morning and walked shaded trails through wetlands and woodlands, spotting turtles and birds along the way. The nature center is small but packed with info. It’s peaceful, quiet, and completely free. I especially recommend it for those wanting a low-key but refreshing summer morning. Bring water and a good camera. #summervacay
