Suspension Bridge and Exhibitions

Buluowan Service Center is located at 232 Fushi, Xiulin Township, Hualien County, and is open daily from 0830-1600. You can take bus 310 from Hualien train station. It is free to enter including the suspension bridge and exhibition halls. Buluowan Suspension Bridge with a length of 196 meters , a width of 2.5 meters, and crossing the Liwu Valley at a height of about 152 meters is considered the longest and highest bridge in Taroko National Park. At the end, you can climb up to the deck, to have the whole view of the bridge, From the bridge you can get a good look at Swallow Grotto, the wind can be strong in Taroko Gorge, please beware of your belongings while crossing. Then you can proceed to the exhibited halls and Idas Hall to see both the arts and crafts of the local tribe and multimedia presentations.
