daytrip from Datong, hanging temple Xuankong

we had a really great time, we were able to book tickets on trip. You need both the admission and temple ticket if you would like to enter the temple. otherwise you can have some great views from the ground. getting there is a bit difficult, public transport is cheap, 15-20rmb. but it will take 3.5hours. you can find a taxi driver in the old city center, it will be cheaper than Didi. The taxi driver will bring you to the tourist center. Here you will need to book a bus for 20rmb, the taxis are not allowed in the temple area. so just take into account that the price of the tickets is only one part for the temple.
