Underwater in Hurghada, Red Sea, Egypt

📍 Egypt Hurghada 📸 July, August 2017 🌊 The Red Sea in Egypt is really beautiful. There are many cities in Egypt where you can enjoy scuba diving, such as Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Sharm El, and Dahab. I stayed in Hurghada for almost two months and enjoyed diving every day. July and August are the hottest months in Hurghada. The water temperature is 27~29 degrees, so you don't need to wear a wetsuit. It is a boat diving style where you have to take a boat far from the port. Most sites have no currents, and you can enjoy an underwater tour without going deep, so it is perfect for beginners. The price of a scuba diving boat tour (2 dives) varies greatly depending on the dive center. It ranges from 45 USD to 120 USD. You can enjoy it for a cheaper price if you go through a local center in Egypt. Usually, payment is required in US dollars. First of all, the hard coral and soft coral fields are really spectacular. And you can easily find Moray eels, Lion fish, and Blue spotted stingrays. Hawksbills and green turtles are also easy to find. If you're lucky, you can dive with dolphins. Dolphins also appear frequently.
