Mount San Jacinto. A breath of fresh air in California’s desert

Just outside of Palm Springs, California, is the San Jacinto mountain range. Take the cable car all the way up to the top, and you’ll be treated to breathtaking views stretching all the way out across California. You’ll be able to see where the San Andreas fault line runs through the state. But more than that, you can enjoy the contrast between the arid landscape of the desert mixed the vast wilderness at the top of the mountain range. It’s a bit of a hidden gem.
