A visit to Ikoma Daishido, a mountain temple where you can pray in silence

#JulyTravelSupport #DaishiDo 📍DaishiDo Ikoma DaishiDo (生駒大師堂) can be found by climbing up the quiet forest path on the side of Mt. Ikoma. This place, a little further up from Hozanji, is a solemn and quiet space where locals visit and pray rather than tourists. The large Buddha statue and temple structure in front are impressively built, both grand and delicate, and they look like they are in harmony with nature. The spacious grounds have a five-story pagoda, a small shop selling amulets, a pond, and stone steps, so it was nice to take a quiet walk, and the sound of the wind chimes swaying in the wind calmed my mind. It's not far from the city center, but it has a mysterious atmosphere that makes you feel like you've entered another world. If you visit Mt. Ikoma, I definitely recommend visiting it. #TheBest #Ikoma
