Saseongam Hike

#summervacay Took a little adventure out to Saseongam in Gurye, and let me tell you, it’s got that perfect mix of peaceful and wow. The trail up the mountain starts off mellow, winding through forest paths with birds chirping and that fresh countryside air. It’s not too tough, but there are some stairs and rocky bits that'll make your legs earn those views. As you climb, it just keeps getting better, views of Jirisan in the distance, little lanterns along the way, and then you arrive at Saseongam Temple. It’s tucked right into the cliffside like it grew out of the rock. Total zen zone. The temple’s small but beautiful, and the energy up there is so calm, even with a few other hikers around. Snapped a few pics, soaked in the view, and just sat there for a bit, letting it all sink in. This spot feels like a hidden gem with major peaceful power. Gurye’s got some magic, and Saseongam’s definitely part of it.
