Beautiful Autumn View Of Naejangsa Temple

#fallingseason Naejangsa is a temple in the beautiful Naejangsan Mountain. It was originally established in 636 by Partriarch Yeong-eun. Originally, there were about 50 buildings here. In 1098, Master Haeng-an remodeled the temple. During the Imjin War, many of the treasures stored here were moved to nearby hermitages for their protection. Unfortunately, the entire temple complex was burned to the ground. The temple was restored again in 1639 by Great Master Buyong and again by Great Master Yeongdam in 1779. Further renovations happened in 1923 and 1938. Unfortunately, during the Korean War, it was once again destroyed by fire. Some of the temple was rebuilt in 1957, 1958, and 1965. In 1974, there was a restoration project centered on the Naejangsan National Park and the current temple was established. As part of the restoration, the government of India donated some remains of the buddha to the temple. This temple is not the most fascinating temple in Korea, but with the mountains in the background, it is certainly auite brettv.
