Daciyan - Double-sided Buddha

The Double-sided Buddha at Daciyan is located in Daciyan Scenic Area in Jiande, Zhejiang. It is a huge double-sided Maitreya Buddha statue, which is golden and spectacular. The statue is located at the top of Daciyan, and visitors need to climb up the winding "No. 1 Plank Road in Western Zhejiang" to reach it. The surrounding mountains offer a wide view. One side of the statue is the image of the cloth bag monk, with a bare chest and belly, and a smiling face, representing optimism, tolerance, and compassion. The cloth bag in his hand also means harmony and wealth accumulation. The other side is the image of the dharma body, the heavenly crown Bodhisattva, showing wisdom and solemnity, symbolizing the profoundness of Buddhism and the willingness to save all living beings.
