Xitang Travelogue

Xitang Travelogue: Actually, the ancient towns in China are quite similar to each other, except that I feel Wuzhen has the best management, the others are more or less the same. I chose to go to Xitang during the Chinese New Year mainly because Xitang is really close to Shanghai. Hotel we stayed at: Xitang Light Year Hotel The price during the Chinese New Year period is more expensive than usual, with an average price of 750 per room The hotel environment is not bad, but the rooms are very small The service is good, but there are very few breakfast options Recommended activities: Boat ride, Photography, Stinky tofu The boat ride is a must-do activity for us when visiting ancient towns, it's relaxing and the kids love it It was the first time I took the kids to take photos in Hanfu (there are a lot of shops in the scenic area, with similar prices, we also chose one based on feeling, and the effect was quite good). Actually, the photographers are shared among different shops. The dining in Xitang didn't have any particularly surprising restaurants, the dishes were basically the same, and the taste was also similar. However, I would recommend Guan Lao Tai stinky tofu (the official store). I personally think the taste is particularly good, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and I ate it for two days in a row. I wouldn't really recommend other categories. The thing I drank the most every day was fresh sugarcane juice, which is actually not very cost-effective at more than twenty yuan per cup, but after all, it's in the scenic area.
