Located deep in the mountains, it's quite far from the city, but the scenery is truly beautiful. The homestay features Huizhou-style architecture—white walls, black tiles, pavilions, and courtyards—all in the traditional style, but with modern facilities inside. Upon arrival, you’ll see fish ponds and woods, and at night, you can stargaze. It’s in a red tourism zone, but there aren’t many historical slogans; the focus is on letting guests explore freely. Older visitors say the place resembles old ancestral homes, while younger guests feel the decor is too new to feel traditional. A night’s stay costs 200–300 yuan, pricier than a regular hotel. Some find it worth it for the tranquility, while others think it’s just an ordinary mountain cottage. The homestay hires local aunties for cleaning—they say it pays better than farming, but it’s only busy during peak seasons. Nearby, there’s a tea plantation where you can experience tea-picking, though it costs extra. When asked why he built here, the owner said he wanted city folks to unwind—but the real experience is up to you to judge.
