Take a Ferry to Active Volcano Sakurajima from Kagoshima!

One of the places I always wanted to visit was Sakurajima because a band I used to listen to had a song themed around it. You can reach the island in about 15 minutes by ferry from Kagoshima. The view of Sakurajima from the ferry was the best angle, for better or worse. I also enjoyed the process of gradually approaching Sakurajima.
