# Kurodake Ropeway is one of the must-see attractions in Daisetsuzan National Park. It only takes 2 minutes to drive from our hotel to Sounkyo Hot Spring Street and take the cable car, which is super close. It only takes 7 minutes to get from Sounkyo Station to Kurodake Station. There is a cable car every 20 minutes. 🏂 If you are a skier, Black Mountain would be a good choice. There is a ski resort just above Kurodake Station. You can experience skiing from early November to mid-May. 🗻However, this time we only climbed to the fifth station of Kurodake (1300m above sea level) in the Daisetsu Mountains. There are two floors of observation decks at Kurodake Station, and the highest one feels colder. If there is a strong wind day, there may be a chance that it will not be open.
