🙏🙏🙏Wat Thung Sunun Rattanaram is a temple of the Mahanikaya sect. It covers an area of ​​27 rai, 2 ngan and 36 square wah, located in Ban Thung Sunun, Village No. 4, Rahan Subdistrict, Bueng Samakkhi District, Kamphaeng Phet Province. The temple was first built in 1952 by villagers who were of Lao Wiang descent who immigrated from Ratchaburi Province as the first group to settle, followed by Lao Krang from Nakhon Pathom Province and Isan people from Roi Et and Khon Kaen Provinces, etc. They immigrated to Khanu Woralaksaburi District to occupy land to make a living. At that time, this area was still a rainforest full of wildlife, rich in water sources and pine trees growing all over the rice fields. The villagers therefore called their village Ban Thung Sunun. When more people immigrated and it became a fairly large community, the villagers worked together to build a temple for the village. Permission to build the temple was granted on April 12, 1970. Its official name is Wat Thung Sunun Rattanaram, which means a temple like a precious gem of the villagers of Thung Sunun. Opened for teaching Dhamma studies since 1965 onwards.
