Thewsangkharam Temple

Wat Thewasangkharam, Kanchanaburi Province 👍Or simply called Wat Nuea, is a beautiful temple in Kanchanaburi. It is an ancient temple and is considered one of the temples in Kanchanaburi that is very important in terms of history. 🙏The ordination hall is in the form of a complex roof. The front has a gable that is revealed in Ayutthaya art. As for the gable decorations, they were probably built in a later period. There is also a 12-cornered wooden pagoda. The middle part is a high bell-shaped decoration. Decorated with a pattern of Brahma trees and a lotus petal pattern. The lower part of the bell is decorated with a layer of lotus petals. It is an art of the early Rattanakosin period. The principal Buddha image in the ordination hall is called "Phra Phuttha Sutthi Mongkhon".
