Oeschinen

The lake in Berner Oberland, Switzerland, is located in the Oeschinen Valley at an altitude of 1,578 meters above sea level. The lake has a surface area of ​​1.11 square kilometers and an average depth of 34 meters, with a deepest point of 56 meters. The lake receives water from the surrounding mountains, but has no outlets. Water drains from the lake by seeping through underground rocks. The lake is frozen for five months each year, from December to May. The main fish found in the lake are Arctic char, lake trout, and rainbow trout.
