[Trip Moment Delivery.🗞️] Let's go to the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts on this trip!!✈️ 🛄ㅣKaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts🎨 The Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts (KMFA) is the fourth largest museum in Taiwan and opened in 1994. It is not just a simple art exhibition space, but a complex cultural space with a vast park. Inside the museum, there are various exhibitions of modern art, traditional Taiwanese art, and international exhibitions, so I highly recommend it to art lovers~!! 1️⃣Floor – Taiwan Contemporary Art Exhibition Hall On the first floor, you can appreciate the works of Taiwanese contemporary artists. There were many works that reflected Taiwan's history and culture, and works using various media caught my eye! Multimedia Art Works: On the LED screen that filled one wall, a video work of Taiwan's natural scenery changing over time was displayed. When the wind blows, the reeds sway, and when the sun sets, the sea sparkles, which are expressed vividly as if they were real, and it was amazing~😆 Harmony of traditional Taiwanese art and modern sensibility: One work was a large-scale painting that used traditional Taiwanese ink painting techniques and added a modern sensibility, and the black and white shades created a deep atmosphere.👍 2️⃣Floor - International Contemporary Art Special Exhibition Modern art works by European and Asian artists were on display here. In particular, various installation art works filled the space, allowing visitors to actively participate~ Giant Mirror Maze: One exhibition space had an installation art work in the form of a maze made of mirrors. When you entered, several mirrors reflected light, creating a fantastic atmosphere, and visitors could directly explore the maze and experience the work. Inflatable Art: Another space had inflatable art works on display, and the space was filled with colorful, giant balloons, making it feel like you were in a fairy tale!! 3️⃣Floor – Exhibitions Reflecting Taiwan’s History and Society The last floor I visited was the 3rd floor, where I could see artworks reflecting Taiwan’s political and social changes. Black and white photos and documentary films: Photographs documenting Taiwan’s social changes in the 20th century were on display. Documentary films were shown alongside photos of workers’ lives, street scenes, and historical events, allowing me to gain a deeper understanding of Taiwan’s history.😃 Taiwanese indigenous artworks: Traditional crafts and paintings by Taiwanese indigenous people were also on display, and their vivid colors and unique patterns were impressive. Sculptures and murals reflecting the indigenous people’s culture and beliefs filled the space. The Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts was not just an exhibition space, but a special place where art and nature coexisted. I was able to deeply understand Taiwan’s culture while appreciating various modern art pieces, and I was also able to spend some leisurely time in a quiet park.
