On the way back from the trip, I passed by Shiraito Falls and stopped the car because there were a lot of people there. It really is a beautiful waterfall. Hundreds of waterfalls, large and small, flow down from a curved cliff 20m high and 150m wide. The appearance is worthy of the name Shiraito, and looks like many silk threads. It has been designated as a national scenic spot and natural monument of Japan, and was selected as one of the 100 best waterfalls in Japan in 2010.
