Indulge in the Silver Grass at Mt. Iwawaki

🏖️Overview: Mt. Iwawaki, located in Kawachinagano City, Osaka Prefecture, stands at an elevation of 897 meters⛰️ and is renowned for its scenic views👀 from the summit. Near the peak, there is an area called Kitora where silver grass🌾 grows in abundance. In spring, the area transforms into a lush green carpet🌱, while in autumn, it dazzles✨ with golden hues, offering visitors a breathtaking spectacle😃. 💞Why It's Recommended: When you think of silver grass, "Soni Highland" might come to mind⁉️ But don't forget about Mt. Iwawaki! This time, it's all about Mt. Iwawaki. Driven by the desire to traverse the ridges🚶, I opted for a train🚃 and bus🚌 approach. Upon arriving at Kawachinagano Station, I was surprised🫢 to see a large crowd waiting for the bus. Thankfully, extra buses were deployed, and I managed to get a seat. Phew. The hiking trail from Takihata Dam was well-maintained and easy to walk on, leading me straight to the silver grass paradise🌾. Wow😅, silver grass everywhere💓! The tall silver grass was truly impressive, and I couldn't help but feel glad I came. Near the summit, amidst the bustling crowd, a friendly lady kindly shared half of her bench with me, allowing me to enjoy my lunch🥪🥗. The lively atmosphere felt like an adult field trip❗️. After taking photos at the summit, I continued my ridge hike. Surprisingly, it took longer than expected to reach Kimi-Toge Station.
