Hakka Wedding vibes in Ipoh

#weekendgetaways The store didn't spend too much time with its name, the Hakka Restaurant in Ipoh is one of the few Hakka food places that I have actually ever tried. The restaurant is all decked out in red, for those that do know know might think the theme of the restaurant is either Christmas or Chinese New year, but it is actually decked out in traditional chinese wedding style decor. From celebratory red papers to gift basket, this really looked like a home for a newly wedded chinese couple. We ordered the Hakka style fried beancurd, chicken soup and minced meat eggplant, I found the beancurd to be one of the most unique and if that is something that I would come back for, it would be that!
