There are plenty of tourist spots within walking distance of Kobe Station, including shrines, Meriken Park, Anpanman Museum, and Kobe Harborland! Kobe also has Chinatown in Nankinmachi. It's a 4 minute train ride to Motomachi, where Nankinmachi is located, so you can do a little sightseeing if you have some extra time!
