Cafe in the Former National Silk Inspection Office Building in Kobe

I visited 'KIITO CAFE' in Kobe! 📍1-4 Onohamacho, Chuo-ku, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture The cafe is located in the building of the former National Silk Inspection Office! The cafe was calm and comfortable. I enjoyed the fact that the desks and inspection machines from the silk inspection days were used as tables. I learned that the inspection machines are part of a museum after my visit to the cafe. The tables even had the original equipment number stickers on them! I thought it was wonderful to preserve and repurpose old, valuable items. The food was locally sourced and very delicious!!
