Let's enjoy fluffy shaved ice made from natural ice of Yatsugatake in Musashi-Koganei.

I visited a newly opened shaved ice shop on August 7th. The shop is called 'Yatsugatake Natural Ice Shaved Ice Chikori' located in Musashi-Koganei, Tokyo. The ice used is natural ice from Kuramoto Hachigi in Yatsugatake. Natural ice is made by slowly freezing natural water using only the coldness of winter, resulting in high-purity ice with few impurities. The fruits added to the shaved ice are also carefully selected. Most of the fruits are directly sourced by the owner from farmers, ensuring they are delicious and complement the shaved ice perfectly. The shop has a policy of not shaping the ice after shaving it, allowing customers to enjoy the fluffy texture. I tried mango, strawberry, and peach. Other customers' matcha azuki and Shingen looked delicious too. I plan to try them next time. With fluffy natural ice and delicious fruits, I feel like I can beat the hot summer.
