Koh Yao Yai, Phang Nga Province

Koh Yao consists of two main islands: Koh Yao Yai and Koh Yao Noi. These islands are perfect destinations for travelers seeking relaxation amidst stunning natural beauty and the traditional lifestyle of the locals. We chose to enjoy a laid-back vacation by strolling along Laem Had Beach, which features beautiful, quiet sandy shores with few visitors. You can sit and gaze at the sea all day long. It’s also a great spot to watch both sunrise and sunset. When the tide recedes, you can see a sandbar and even walk along it. We traveled from Krabi by car to Klong Sai Pier (Din Daeng Noi) and then took a ferry to Klong Hia Pier. The ferry operates once daily from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, taking approximately 2 hours.
