It was originally built as a training hall (tekke) for the Mevlevi order, and is particularly associated with whirling dervishes, known for their whirling dance (sema). It is now open to the public as a museum, and attracts many tourists. Main Attractions Mausoleum (Kubbe-i-Hadra) A blue-green domed mausoleum where Mevlana's remains are kept.
