Krabi, another province famous for its beaches, is located between Phuket and Phang Nga. In terms of the number of people and atmosphere, if you like crowded places, go to Phuket. If you prefer quieter places with fewer people, go to Phang Nga. Krabi is a perfect balance, not too crowded and not too quiet. The sea is beautiful. Ao Nang, just a bit past the boat docking point, has clear water perfect for swimming. Ton Sai Beach, next to Railay Beach, is a quiet island with limited accommodations and some monkeys. Railay Beach has two sides: the west side and the east side. One side is crowded with many accommodations and gives a beach vibe, where many boats dock. The other side gives a mangrove forest vibe, suitable for those seeking tranquility.
