Thai off-the-beaten-path island tour, long-tail boat adventure and sightseeing, complete guide to Hong Island. Thailand is located in the tropics, where it's summer all year round. I stayed at Amari VOGUE KRABI hotel on Koh Lanta, all of its rooms face the sea and because they face west, they directly face the sea. We signed up for the Hong Island tour service provided by Krabi Expert. The following is a guide to visit Hong Island: 1. The best time to visit Hong Island is in the morning. If you want to avoid the crowds, it's best to leave at 8am so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Hong Island before other tourists arrive. 2. We will have breakfast at the hotel at 7 o'clock, and then at 8 o'clock, we will board the long-tail boat at the shallow beach in front of the hotel and set off to the sea. 3. Joining this private customized tour will be much more convenient, as they will provide dedicated boats and guides, and the cost is also reasonable. 4. During the visit to Hong Island, be sure to pay attention to protecting the environment, do not litter, and do not damage the natural landscape. 5. There are many beautiful attractions on Hong Island, such as the first checkpoint, which is the Emerald Lake. Before arriving at Hong Island, there is a fee of 300 Thai baht per person to board the island, which is a national nature park where you can hike, snorkel, and enjoy the white sand beaches. 6. There are many beautiful beaches and islands around Hong Island, for example, the tour guide took us to one of the islands during lunchtime, where we enjoyed our lunch on the beach. After the end of the Hong Island tour, we can continue to other places. 7. Our final snorkeling spot, there are so many fish in that sea area, everyone can jump into the sea with their life jackets on and play freely. 8. Finally, don't forget to bring essential sun protection items such as sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, etc. You don't need to bring your own drinking water and food because they are all included in the Krabi Expert itinerary, including Thai drinks, drinking water, and even coconuts. For lunch, they prepared pastries and a large basket of tropical fruits for me, including bananas, grapes, oranges, apples, and watermelon. We took a long-tail boat to Hong Island, and the whole journey takes about 30 minutes. On the way, we can see many beautiful bays and islands, and while snorkeling, we can see all kinds of wonderful creatures living in the sea. On Hong Island, you will see other tourists taking walks on the beach and playing and frolicking by the sea. Because the water here is very clear, basically as soon as you step onto the pier, you can see various fish and corals at the bottom of the water. At noon, we took a long-tail boat back to our hotel on Koh Phi Phi. The whole journey was very enjoyable and fulfilling. Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, I can taste delicious food and stunning sea views. Especially the Breeze Spa restaurant in the hotel, its cuisine and sea view left a deep impression on me. Recommend the winter melon soup at this restaurant, which has its own secret recipe. The soup contains prawns, fish sauce, straw mushrooms, evaporated milk, coconut milk, and other ingredients stewed together to create a delicious and appetizing sour and spicy flavor. The restaurant is very close to the beach. After a satisfying meal, it's also enjoyable to take a leisurely walk along the beach. The hotel also offers a variety of activities, including yoga, kayaking, diving, and hiking, which made my vacation very enjoyable. I also participated in the hotel's Hong Island hopping activity, took a long-tail boat, played on several islands, enjoyed lunch on the beach, took photos in the lagoon, the experience was really great, and it made me spend an unforgettable time. Overall, Amari Vogue Krabi hotel is an excellent resort hotel. Its prime location, high-quality service, delicious food, stunning sea views, and abundant activities made my time there unforgettable. Arriving at an open-air bar at night, ordering a delicious drink, sitting among a group of foreign friends chatting and enjoying the band performance, is also very pleasant. Every evening, be sure to watch the sunset. The hotel is located in front of a clear beach with shallow water. The sunset in March is around 6:30 PM. At this time, the afterglow of the setting sun reflects on the water, creating golden ripples. If you frame elements such as coconut trees and kayaks together with a camera, the resulting sunset photo is stunningly beautiful. Highly recommend their long-tail boat for snorkeling. This is a must-try activity when visiting Krabi, because Krabi is a shallow sea area with clear water and a wide variety of tropical fish. Snorkeling in this shallow sea is undoubtedly amazing.
