Eslite Spectrum Kuala Lumpur

In the age of the internet, bookstores need to reinvent themselves to attract patrons. They need to be more than just a place that sells books. Eslite Spectrum has embraced this concept in some rather interesting ways. First off, the exterior design feels more like a gallery. The main entrance has a stage with rows in seating. Although nothing was being held when I was visiting but there I saw various events scheduled on the calendar. The other thing that really caught my eye was a tiny nook that houses fancy writing instruments. It is easy to miss it as the entrance is tiny. Inside, again it feels like an art gallery or museum exhibit. The entrance is located near the stationery department. #malaysia
