Iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto

#wecreate #kyoto Kyoto's UNESCO World Heritage site, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, also known as Pure Water Temple, was founded over 1200 years ago in the year 778. Lots of people visit the scenic Buddhist temple during the Cherry Blossom season & autumn for the viewing of the Sakura and autumn foliage. Other highlights include the Kiyomizu Wooden Stage and the Otowa Falls, where people will queue to drink the pure spring water from one of the 3 water sprouts, hopefully to have success in longevity, love or academics.
