Nishiki Market

Nishiki Market is a must-visit market in Kyoto. Visitors can buy all sorts of different Japanese food and snacks. We first went late in the evening and were disappointed that most shops were already closed by 7pm, so we went back on our last day in Kyoto around noon, and the street was packed with people. We tried some tempura, pickled cucumbers, and bought some Japanese honey and herbal teas. The red, green, yellow roof indicates food street, and the white roof indicates shopping streets. #timetotravel #japan #kyoto #nishikimarket
