Good Nature Hotel, a green and green hotel in Kyoto, Japan

Good Nature Hotel is a very special hotel in Kawaramachi, Kyoto. It advocates coexistence with nature and environmental sustainability. It is a green building hotel that has won both WELL and LEED certifications. The mall where it is located is called Good Nature Station. Although it is close to Takashimaya Department Store, the style is completely different. Whether it is the brand selection or the design style, it is a shopping mall full of literary and artistic atmosphere. Greenery can be seen everywhere in the entire Good Nature Station. The first floor is a flower shop, supermarket, delicatessen and handicraft area; the second floor is a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food; the third floor is an open space with its own brand coffee and beauty area. The mall is very comfortable to walk around in. There is also an open food area on the first floor, which is designed like an airport VIP lounge and is quite fashionable. The fourth floor is the reception hall of Good Nature Hotel and the beautiful patio atrium rest area. The fifth floor and above are the guest rooms. Each floor is full of plants and is quite beautiful. Walking into the hotel lobby, your vision is immediately attracted by the plants and the patio. The bright lighting and wooden furniture make the whole lobby very relaxing and well-designed. We stayed in a basic superior double room, which was about 8-9 pings in size and had a sofa and bathtub. It was quite comfortable and spacious, but the price was not cheap, nearly NT$6,000, and breakfast was not included. Probably because it is located in the bustling Kawaramachi business district, hotels in this area are more expensive, but transportation and living facilities are very convenient. After checking the official website, I found that the hotel has some very special themed room types, such as the MU room with an independent meditation space, the Botanical room full of green plants, the sauna room with a terrace and sauna, and the Kawaramachi Suite and Higashiyama Suite with a full-face terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows.
