See this beautiful teak temple before it disappears

As dusk deepened, Mr. Lai dropped us off at the temple entrance and repeatedly reminded us to go see the teak Buddha statue inside, "It's as long as my car!" He was the local we knew best in Nan Bang, because... on the first night in Nan Bang, his car accidentally hit my family. The sudden accident prevented us from touring the town to our heart's content, and he suggested several times to take us to see some nice places. Some old wooden buildings that can't be seen in tourist brochures usually have their doors closed and sit quietly behind a wide lawn. Most of them are uninhabited and can't find buyers. The bustling local market, where people come here to buy ingredients for dinner after work, and rush home with big and small bags. When we returned to the old town from the suburbs and crossed the white bridge across the canal, we just saw the colorful sunset on the other side of the sky. So he dropped us off, and from a small bridge next to it that only allows pedestrians and motorcycles to pass, we could fully appreciate the soft lines of the white bridge and quietly watch the sunset. I declined his invitation to accompany us to visit the temple and then have dinner together, because he is the father of three children, and it is not surprising that his family is looking forward to his return home for dinner. This temple is too quiet, with only our family, and the black cat in the corner and the pigeons hiding in the ceiling mezzanine making some noise. The wooden steps leading to the main hall say "Please do not take off your shoes". This is the first time we have encountered a temple that explicitly asks not to take off shoes. We will understand after walking up two steps. The floor is shabby and the corner near the door is covered with pigeon droppings. It is quite dark inside when we walk in, and we can vaguely see the Buddha statue in the deepest part. Although it is so shabby, the mottled golden pattern on the wooden board is still beautiful, silently showing its former splendor. There is also a newer main hall next to it, where we see the teak Buddha statue that Mr. Lai repeatedly mentioned, glowing faintly in the dark. Turning on the flashlight, we can see that the walls around are full of complicated murals, telling stories from Buddhist scriptures one by one. There are many temples in Nan Bang, including Wat Doi Prachan Mea Tha, which looks like the blue Buddha in Kamakura, and Wat Phra That Lampng Luang, which hides the relic. I like them all, but this unknown ancient temple is so attractive that I want to tell everyone who might go to Nan Bang about it. Can you go and see this beautiful teak temple before it disappears?
