It can be said that it is both an ancient site with historical and archaeological significance, as well as a spiritual anchor for people in the community. It is believed that it is a cemetery of war elephants and war horses, the companions of Queen Chamadevi. Ku Ma is located behind Ku Chang. It is believed to contain the remains of the horse of King Mahantayot, the son of Queen Chamadevi. The base is square, the pagoda is in the shape of an inverted bell. The top has collapsed. In front of the ancient site of Ku Chang Ku Ma, Lamphun Municipality has renovated it to be a place for people in the community to relax. Lamphun people highly respect Ku Chang. A shrine to the Lord of Ku Chang has been built on the east side near the pagoda in front of the shrine. There is a replica of Pu Kam Nga Kiew for people to pay homage to. It is believed that if you crawl under the belly of this elephant, it will bring good fortune to your life and bring success in what you desire.
