There’s also a private hot spring bath, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring 🛀. The room facilities are new, the bedding is comfortable, and the attention to detail is excellent. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, check-in is quick, and they thoughtfully recommend fun and tasty spots nearby. The breakfast is also quite good~ 🍜 Food Highlights 1. Foot-soaking Beef: A must-try in Leshan! I went to Feng Si Niang Foot-soaking Beef. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the beef, beef tongue, and tripe are all very fresh. Dip them in the dry sauce after blanching, and every bite is super satisfying. I recommend going at noon; it gets very crowded in the evening. 2. Bobo Chicken: Ye Popo Bobo Chicken is a long-established brand. Various skewers soaked in spicy red oil are full of flavor, both fragrant and spicy, you just can’t stop eating. But I also liked the vine pepper flavor, which is refreshing and cuts the grease. 3. Tofu Pudding: You must try Jiu Jiu Tofu Pudding. Their tofu pudding is tender and smooth, with rich seasonings. It’s topped with crispy fried dough sticks, chopped pickled mustard greens, crushed peanuts, and drizzled with a spoonful of beef broth—absolutely aromatic and delicious. Avoid the ones at scenic spot entrances; the taste is quite average. 4. Sweet-skinned Duck: Wang Hao’er Ji Liu Niang Sweet-skinned Duck has crispy skin and tender meat, sweet but not greasy. When buying, you can ask the owner to cut it into small pieces for easier eating. Don’t buy too much, it can get overwhelming. 🏞 Attractions 1. Leshan Giant Buddha: Buy tickets online in advance; it’s very crowded on-site. I suggest going early in the morning when the light is good for photos. Be careful when climbing the winding ancient plank road; there are many people in line, so be patient. Avoid guides who solicit business at the scenic spot entrance—they may be unprofessional and overcharge. 2. Shangzhongshun Specialty Street: Very close to the hotel and lively at night. There are various snacks, local specialties, and creative shops where you can eat and stroll. Some snacks are a bit pricey, so it’s best to ask before buying. 3. Suji Ancient Town: A bit far from the city center, but accessible by bus. The ancient town has a lively atmosphere where you can eat authentic foot-soaking beef and explore the old streets.
