A seven-day, six-night trip to Yunnan with my mother

My elderly mother has limited physical strength, so we didn't have an intense itinerary. Apart from Lijiang, the rest of the trip was quite relaxed, but after visiting Lijiang, I feel we should have added another day. We only stayed for three days and two nights, which was a bit too short. 📆【Travel Itinerary】 📆Itinerary: Day1: Arrive in Lijiang - Shuhe Ancient Town - Lijiang Ancient City 🌟Both of these attractions are free, and it's best to allocate a whole day for Lijiang Ancient City to wander around slowly and soak in the atmosphere. 🌟Be sure to wear comfortable sports shoes, as the ancient city is paved with stone slabs, making walking quite tiring. Day2: Day trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain 🌟Book tickets in advance. 🌟If you have the energy, you can also visit Baisha Ancient Town after coming down from the snow mountain. Day3: Head to Dali - Shuanglang Ancient Town - Wase Village - Dali Ancient City 🌟Dali has strong ultraviolet rays, remember to wear sunscreen 🌟Parking in Dali Ancient City is very congested, it's recommended to take a taxi. Day4: Tour around Dali's western coastline - Then head to Kunming Day5: Haihong Wetland Park - Cuihu Park - Kunming Old Street - Nanqiang Alley Day6: Zhuanxin Farmers' Market - Dounan Flower Market 🌟My mother loves the farmers' market the most, with a rich variety of goods 🌟The prices at Dounan Flower Market are indeed cheap, and you can take them on the plane 🚗Transportation Tips: Lijiang + Dali: Self-driving is not recommended for beginners, as there are many winding roads. It's suggested to take a taxi/bus/hire a car Kunming: Subway + Taxi 🍽Local Cuisine: Lijiang: Smoked Pork Rib Hotpot Dali: Grilled Cheese Fans, Rushan Cheese Kunming: Tofu Rice Noodles, Stuffed Tofu, Milk Liquor, Wild Mushroom Hotpot Kunming has the most diverse food options and generally better environments. 📝Note tips: Yunnan's climate is rather dry, so if you're prone to dryness, bring a good moisturizer.
