Blue Moon Lake - crystal clear water

if you end up taking a tour like we did Inside the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenic area, you can take a cable car to the top of the mountain to see the glaciers, visit the Yak or Spruce Meadow and then reach the Blue Moon Valley by bus. The scenery is unreal with the melting glacier water giving the lake this special colour. it’s just so beautiful.

What a Blue! The most breath taking view of Yulong Mountain is at Lanyue Lake! I never see any super blue rivers here in China but this is the best one! you can see the mountains reflection. I think the best time to take photo of the mountain and the river is around 7PM or 7AM when the sun is not high enough. also my tip is to bring your tripod to do long shutter shots to make it steady and to get the perfect mirror shot. #urbanexplorer #yuanshanping #lijiang #yunnan #china #explorewithtony #naturelover #adventure #life #photographersdayoff #LeaveYourMark
