Wat Thai Watthanaram, Mae Sot, Tak Province

We accidentally came across “Wat Thai Watthanaram” on our way back from Mae Hong Son to Bangkok. We chose to stop by Rim Mae Market. Not far from Rim Mae Market, we found the temple. The temple was built in a magnificent style. There is a Luang Pho Than Jai statue just like in Burma. The sculptures and art inside the temple are delicate and graceful. The temple is not far from the Burmese border. There is a slight Burmese influence.
