It is an important passage connecting the east/west trails of the Azusa River north of the Kamikochi Bus Terminal. You can see the scenery of the upper reaches of the Azusagawa River from the bridge, but it will be shaking if there are many people walking on it. Since the east bank trail of the Azusa River was closed due to flooding when we visited, people heading to Tokusawa at the northernmost end had to take a detour, crossing the Kappa Bridge to the west bank, then crossing the Myojin Bridge back to the east side, and then walking north to reach Tokusawa, which was indeed not very convenient.
