A wonderful, traditional village to visit!

This is a historical place called Morten Village. It is an old Malay village that is composed of original, traditional Malay-style houses. It is a beautiful place to walk around during the day or night. You can walk along the river and even cross a beautiful bridge to get to the place. Some houses are decorated. If you want a tour of one of these traditional houses, head to Villa Sentosa. The owner of the house will take you through the house, and while there isn't an entrance fee, you are expected to give some kind of donation. At night, there are some restaurants that open up that sell great food. Everything is lit up at night, so it's beautiful. You can even take a river cruise up the river that'll take you to this area if you just want a glimpse of it from the boat. If you want, you can also get off on a jetty in this area to end your river cruise and venture around this village. #malacca #malaysia #mortenvillage
