Imamura Cathedral, a beautiful Romanesque red brick Catholic church

#Fukuoka Attractions Imamura Catholic Church, a beautiful Romanesque red brick church with two towers. As a brick church left in the country, it is extremely valuable and has been designated as an important cultural property of Japan. The church was completed in 1913 (Taisho 2). The stained glass and 14 crucifixion paintings were made in France, the pillars are made of cedar trees from Mt. Kora, and the bricks are specially made... It is a beautiful building worth seeing. Imamura Catholic Church is located in the countryside, and transportation is relatively inconvenient. I walked for about 30 minutes from Nishitetsu Oyan Station to reach this beautiful church!
