Italy is a land filled with the warmth of Mediterranean sunshine, the weight of ancient ruins, and cities where gastronomy and art are part of everyday life. Each city has a completely different atmosphere, making you feel as if you've traveled to multiple countries. In Rome, every turn of a corner brings the breath of ancient Rome to life. Spending time at the Colosseum, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain evokes an overwhelming sense of wonder, making you question, 'Am I really in Rome right now?' The Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel are the epitome of artistic excellence, compelling you to gaze upward at the ceiling until your neck aches. Florence is small but intense. The spirit of the Renaissance flows throughout the city, and the Duomo Cathedral itself is a massive sculpture. The worlds of Botticelli and Michelangelo encountered at the Uffizi Gallery deeply stirred my soul. Venice is pure romance, needing no words. Gondolas glide along the canals, and St. Mark's Square is filled with music carried by the sea breeze. The maze-like alleys continuously reveal unexpected scenery. In Milan, you can feel the sophisticated urban vibe, fashion, and the energy of contemporary art. Naples and the Amalfi Coast are brimming with vibrant colors and the scent of the sea. Especially, the Mediterranean sunset seen from Positano is a scene that will remain etched in my memory forever. Italy taught me that traveling here is not about 'seeing' but 'feeling.' Every city was a story, and for a brief moment, I became the protagonist within it.
