Mitaka no Mori Ghibli Museum

Located within Inokashira Park in Mitaka City, Tokyo, the "Mitaka no Mori Ghibli Museum" is a must-visit destination for Ghibli fans from around the world. Here, visitors can enjoy exhibits reminiscent of scenes from Ghibli films, exclusive short films, limited-edition food and merchandise, and more. Upon entering the museum grounds, you'll be greeted by Totoro. However, this is actually a fake reception area. Director Hayao Miyazaki designed this playful feature to provide visitors with a sense of surprise and laughter, aiming to create a museum that both adults and children can enjoy. The windows are adorned with stained glass inspired by Ghibli works. Photography is unfortunately prohibited inside the museum. If you're looking to capture Ghibli-themed photos, climb the spiral staircase to the rooftop to meet the Robot Soldier.
