Most people know about Amanohashidate, but don't know where it is? Actually, Amanohashidate is in Kyoto! When you think of Kyoto, you probably think of the surrounding areas such as Arashiyama and Kiyomizu-dera Temple. On a map, the area we think of as "THE Kyoto" would be Southern Kyoto. But the Amanohashidate we're introducing today is Miyazu City in Northern Kyoto! There are many famous spots such as the naval town of Maizuru City and the boat houses of Ine. To get to Amanohashidate, you need to take a lift or cable car to the top. The top is like a small amusement park, with photo spots, bike rides on rails, and a Ferris wheel.
