🚗 Self-driving Iceland Golden Circle one-day tour 🚗 1️⃣ First stop: Thingvellir National Park 🏞️ From Reykjavik, take Route 1 east for about 40 km to Thingvellir. When you visit the national park, you will see many plants, viewing platforms, waterfalls, and can enjoy the view of the continental drift dividing line. 🌍 2️⃣ Second stop: Gullfoss Waterfall 🌊 From Thingvellir National Park, continue east along Highway 1 for about an hour to reach Gullfoss Waterfall. Follow the signs to the parking lot and walk to the waterfall viewing platform, which is very stunning. 🌈 3️⃣ Lunch: Find delicious food on the road 🍽️ On the way to your next destination, you can find a local restaurant or food stand in a nearby town or rest stop and enjoy a delicious lunch. 😋 4️⃣ Third stop: Geysir geyser area 🌋 From Gullfoss Falls, continue east along Highway 1 for about 10 kilometers to reach the Geysir geyser area. After parking, walk to the Geysir area to watch the spectacular eruption of geysers, especially the Strokkur geyser, which erupts every five to ten minutes! 📸 5️⃣ Last stop: Kerið crater 🌋 From the Geysir geyser area, continue east along Route 1 for about 90 kilometers, then turn south for about 17 kilometers to Kerið crater. After parking, you can follow the trail to admire this beautiful crater and go down to the lake shore for a close-up look. 🌺 #GlobalTravel
