It is said that the temple’s founders were a family who fled from the Burmese from Ayutthaya and traveled by boat to the current location of the temple😯 and made a living by weaving bamboo baskets, mats, and pom, which are containers woven from bamboo for selling rice👍 Later, someone ran to tell them that the Burmese army was coming and told them to hurry and escape. The couple who were weaving pom saw that they couldn’t escape in time, so they hid in the pom they were weaving and made a vow to the Triple Gem🙏 and all sacred things that they would not let the Burmese see them. If they could escape, they would build a temple here💕 When they were safe from the Burmese again, they built a temple where they made their vow and named it Wat Bang Kap Pom. Later, the name was changed to Wat Bang Kaphom and became the current “Wat Bang Kaphom”. 🥰 Inside the temple, there are 4 Buddha footprints, which are deeply stacked. 📸 They are decorated with pearl wood, with beautiful and clear patterns. The entrance, exit, and windows have unique and beautiful characteristics. 💓 There are also 3D stucco murals with both high and low relief images and some colored paint.
